Is the first line correct? - "Valuing time over money is a recipe for a sad, lonely life."

Because it says later in the article "It should shock no one that people who value time over money are much more likely to lead fuller, happier lives."

Or is the first line talking about valuing time in the same way as money, ie - worrying about making every second count.

Oh my goodness, thanks Harry I accidently reversed the order of the first sentence, yes it should be the other way around, making that edit now. Thanks.

Hahaha no problem, I did think something was up but then I wasn't sure if I was misunderstanding the point of the article 😂

It's true that we're placing too much value on money these days. Personal relationships are the first thing to suffer from that.

There are absolutely great points. I have a habit tracker and I'm trying to be more mindful about completing certain things that may seem like no brainers but can easily be forgotten. My top ones include no social media/phones after work until my daughter goes to bed (always a challenge), at least 30 mins no TV and focused play with my daughter, talk at least 30 mins with husband each day, Drink Water (you know you all need to drink more water go pour yourself a cup right now!). Calling my parents is a weekly goal, but you are right... it should be more frequent! Being Mindful is not just for our finances! :)

I like these Jessica, especially no phones until the kids are in bed. That one would be really tough for me, but probably is a sign that I should make this a goal of mine too.

Our time is invaluable. A certain worth should not be attached to it.

Good distinctions. This also dovetails into how we have been programmed to think mod wealth — being paid for our time (i.e “hours worked”) vs being paid for the value we produce.

Ben, since you've thought about this more than most of us, I'd be curious:

If you weren't allowed to use the word "time" in this article, what other words would you use?

I find time to be quite a tricky concept.
