Never thought about how an opportunity can change your goals. Probably fine in most cases but not with investment. You’d want to keep some flexibility to take on opportunities but, yeah, with investment that sounds foolish.

Yep, by the time you hear about some "game changing" new development, it's already been priced into the investment.

Nice article, behavioral risks are a bigger threat when investing than risks to the business you're investing in imo.
