Sounds great in principle, provided one has the time to be utilising these perks and is employed by an organisation generous with benefits.

Thanks for this great article Ben! Canadians don't tend to think about much more than their salary when evaluating a role. This is a great reminder. Evaluating all non cash components of the offer are very important. If you have workplace benefits, pulling up your benefits booklet and reviewing what is covered is a great way to get a reminder, that you may have coverage, and taking care of yourself with the benefits you have is important. More than just the money you leave on the table, you could be improving your health, with massage, physio, dental care, therapy are more. If you don't ask - you miss out. I also recently wrote some deep dives on understanding your pension, and the TFSA on my blog along these lines! :)
