My New Book The Rational Investor Is Launching Today!
How to beat Wall Street, Build passive wealth and stop worrying about money
This is the book I always wanted to write.
There are hundreds of investment books on the market. Many of these investment books try to teach you how to pick stocks, which is a problem for two reasons.
The majority of stock pickers lose money.
Research has shown that even if someone is a good stock picker, there is no evidence that they can teach YOU how to pick stocks.
So, these books teaching you how to pick stocks are nothing more than a waste of time and money for the reader.
There are some books that review a rational, investing strategy; which is to invest in index funds and sit on them for the long run. I have read nearly all of the books on index funds and some of them are quite enjoyable reads.
However, in an effort to “simplify investing,” these books tend to leave out crucial information and provide only surface-level information on important investment topics like how to properly diversify a portfolio.
What I have yet to find is a book that teaches the reader how the stock market actually works, reviews the evidence behind the most popular and trendy investing strategies, and comes back to the conclusion that index funds beats all the alternatives.
That’s why I wrote “The Rational Investor.”
Pick up your copy to learn:
How to spot and avoid Financial Bull$hit that the financial services industry and social media use to sell you bad products.
Why index funds are the investment of choice to build passive wealth
Why trading stocks is doomed to fail.
Why index funds > actively managed mutual funds
Whether Bitcoin makes any sense to invest in
Why “alternative” assets like private equity and gold don’t have a place in a rational portfolio.
A simple explanation of "Factor Investing,” which might be the only investment strategy that beats index funds—but only if you implement it properly.
Why the financial media wants to scare the crap out of you at every bump in the road and the evidence you need to stay invested for the long run.
This book is a simplified summary of more than 100 of the most influential investing research papers from the most brilliant minds in the industry, written in plain language so that even beginners can understand.
Whether you have not started investing yet, or you’ve been investing every month for 20 years; this book will give you the tools to succeed as an investor, resist pushy financial advisors, and spot Investing BS on social media.
